Janna Graf led the SME Lancers to two consecutive state play-off appearances in 2008-’09 and 2009-’10. She was a DiRenna Award Nominee and Sunflower League Player of the Year along with numerous other local, metro, and regional accolades. Graf was no doubt one of the best girls basketball players to ever put on a Lancer uniform. She has gone on to excel in her freshman year at Yale and is continuing to play well this season as a sophomore. She averages 10.4 points per game and recently lead the team with 18 points against Florida State. She was recently (1/4/12) honored in the JoCo Faces portion of “913″ a news magazine included in the Kansas City Star.
